When is the best time to sell a house in Scottsdale?
Hey man, you know what? The question I get all the time from people is, ‘What is the best time of year to sell my house in Scottsdale?’
I’m gonna go with April.
You’d be correct! The answer’s right now, beginning of April, that’s where we sit. And we’re going to explain to you why right now is the best time- other than the amazing weather that we’re experiencing right now.
Well, the simple easy reason is because most homes sell each year; May, April, June, July, than any other period for the rest of the year.
That’s right, and it happens year over year over year. We can expect that.
Right, so there’s really two reasons why. One is the empty nesters, so this year we’re going to have over 90,000 people move here.
So, empty nesters come and enjoy the winters here, fall madly in love with the place, and decide, hey I’m going to be spending more time down here…it’s time to buy especially knowing the prices are going up. So…
Right, that coupled with after spring break, families settle in, mommies start typing away looking to find a new house for their family.
That’s correct.
Because they want to move during the summertime. When the kids are out of school, it’s the prime-time for them to be moving, so they can start the next year in their new home.
Right, so demand is at it’s peak April, May, June, closing in July, August…
