How does Realty One Group compare to Russ Lyon Sotheby’s? First the obvious reasons then we’ll get into why the Sibbach Team is licensed with “ROG” as we refer to Realty One Group inside the walls. So…obviously the names are different; the office locations, websites, brokers, and agents are all different. Now for some similarities. Russ Lyon and Realty One Group are both real estate brokerages that allow realtors to build a business inside their walls. Realty One Group is a newer comer onto the Arizona real estate scene (2008), since Rusty Lyon (as my grandpa called him) started way before my time. Realty One Group has a big push towards technology. They have a paperless transaction management system that was originally built by the owner Kuba Jewgieniew. After becoming the largest brokerage in Nevada he moved to Arizona and California. Once these areas took off he started franchising nationally. Arizona now has 2,500 agents licensed out of 11 offices.
The designated broker at Realty One Group, Jim Sexton, oversees the 2,500 agents at ROG and is also the current President of the Arizona Associations of REALTORS. He also chaired the last 2 contract revision committees which means he understands the ins and outs of the Residential Purchase Contract better than most other brokers.
Now that I’ve been licensed at Realty One Group since 2011 and have doubled my business year over year over year, on pace for our team to close $100,000,000 worth of houses this year, I can tell you that there is no better brokerage to list your home with or buy a house through.
