"Jeff is the ultimate professional. While living in a state where there is a realtor on every corner, his service is above and beyond. Jeff listened to my needs and helped my house sell in record time. He cared and gave me support when everyone else was looking to just make a dollar. Thanks Jeff!" Read more...

Preschool

It’s time to sign up for preschool!

This time of year brings stress to all families of a preschool aged child. Some of the popular North Scottsdale homes preschools have/will begin registration for the 2012-2013 school year. To those parents who are determined to get a spot at one of this highly sought after Scottsdale homes preschools, one may arrive at 2a.m. to get in line for doors opening to enroll at 9:00. I am one who can understand this mindset as I have done this more than a couple times myself.

When my oldest daughter was ready to start preschool, I researched and visited many preschool choices in Cave Creek, Carefree, North Phoenix: Tatum Ranch homes, Desert Ridge homes, North Scottsdale and Paradise Valley. I was determined to find a rich learning environment for my little one. When you find the preschool that fits your hopes, you almost feel as if you have won a prize. It was La Casa de Cristo Preschool in Scottsdale which was the chosen spot. All this transpired in 2004 and I observed my daughter happily enjoy 2 wonderful years at La Casa. Following, I again experienced 2 more years with my second daughter. Then, here I sit thinking about the past 3 years enjoyed by my third daughter. I couldn’t be more thankful for all the learning and hugs over the past 7 years. I, along with my daughters, met some of my closest friends at preschool over the years. Amazing how time flies…I feel like I was just in the parking lot, waiting at 2 a.m. nervously thinking of sending my first baby to 2.5 hours of preschool! I never knew that wait would give me 7 years of great memories.

Now, planning for Kindergarten…this will be my next blog, stay tuned!

***I’d like to mention a past client and now a wonderful friend to me opened Montessori of Surprise a few years ago. It is a magical place to learn and if you live in the west valley, add this one to your list of tours!
