The 15th Annual Anthem Holiday Classic is a popular sprint triathlon held in a great location on a fun, fast course. Consisting of a 400m heated pool swim, a fast 20km course and a 5km run to the finish, the Holiday Classic is a great way to finish your 2016 season. Early registration, includes a custom finisher medal, matching lapel pin and sticker, race bib, wristband and age group awards.

The Merry Mountain McDowell Mountain 5K begins on the Sport Loop on the Competitive Track overlooking the Valley of The Sun while running through natural desert landscape, jolly Cholla a-plenty, finishing on the Technical Loop. Whether you’re looking to run your first 5K or finish with a new personal best, the 2016 REI Trail Run Series will help you set your pace! For only $20 everyone who signs up will receive REI branded gear, maps of the course, and plenty of post-race refreshments in the Chill Zone designed especially for runners. In addition, there are some great prizes for the top men’s and women’s finishers, as well as those who have completed the full series of 2016. Packet Pick-Up begins at 7:30am on morning of race, Saturday, December 17th at the Sport Loop trailhead and the race begins at 8:30am.

Local runners: We will provide you with a Road ID bib when you arrive. Check in starts at 8:00 am on Saturday, December 17th in the parking lot at Road Runner Sports Tempe. The store is located at Tempe Marketplace 43 S. McClintock Drive, Tempe, AZ 85281. The race is scheduled to start at 9:00 am, so please arrive early! Water and snacks are provided and your custom finisher medal will be awarded after the run. Event details and schedule
Check in begins at 8:00 am at Road Runner Sports Tempe. There is no pre-race packet pickup. We meet at the store before going over to the race course. Plan to stick around for the raffle and we will try to end the event by 11 am.
