Looking for something fun to do to celebrate America’s Independence? We have compiled a list of things to do in North Scottsdale to celebrate the 4th of July 2015.
Scottsdale: Are you looking for an entire afternoon and evening of amazing Fourth of July entertainment culminating in an amazing fireworks display? Are you thinking “Yes, but not in this sweltering heat”? Then go no further than Westworld near DC Ranch. Starting at 2 pm on the 4th, Westworld will open up their 300,000 square foot state-of-the-art, air conditioned equestrian center and fill it with food, rides, games, and a “Gatsby-era” race. Fireworks will start around 9 pm and admission is $12 in advance, $17 at the door. Children 5 and under are free.
Fountain Hills: Another great option, although probably a little warmer, is Fourth at the Fountain, at Fountain Hills Park. Celebrate with family and friends and enjoy live entertainment, BBQ, bounce house for the kiddos, a rock climbing wall and even a parachute demonstration! In addition, look for an awesome fireworks display at 9:30 pm.
Cave Creek: Cave Creek residents, you can have 2 nights of celebrating as the Cave Creek 3rd of July Fireworks Extravaganza will feature 3 participating restaurants and bars. Harold’s Corral will offer an outdoor BBQ, mobile gaming truck, shaved ice and face painting. The Buffalo Chip Saloon will serve corn dogs, smoked turkey legs, roasted corn and snow cones. The Cave Creek Roadhouse will have balloons and giveaways. All 3 bars will have drink specials, live music and free open seating to view the fireworks display just after sunset. There will also be complimentary shuttles around town from 6 pm to midnight. Happy 4th of July!
