Its time once again for the much anticipated 61st Annual Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show 2016. Coming to Westworld from February 11-21st, the 61st annual horse show has set the pace in the Arabian horse world. The world-renowned show got its humble beginnings the famous Biltmore Hotel in 1955 amongst a small but visionary group of horse lovers. Soon after, Ann McCormick bought 150 acres in what was then a remote area of Scottsdale and called it Paradise Park, near 64th street and Bell Road. Over the years, the show has gone from 50 horses to over 2,500 horses bringing in some of the top trainers, breeders, and owners from around the world. These living works of art are known for their distinctive head shape and tail carriage, and is also one of the oldest breeds with its origins dating back 4,500 years.

In addition to the spectacle that is these beautiful animals, the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show is almost as well known for its shopping vendors. There you can find jewelry, one-of-a-kind furniture, unique clothes, shoes, boots, saddles, toys, accessories, you name it, its there. There is also gourmet food vendors from some of the best local vendors around the Valley.
