The Scottsdale Culinary Festival is a premier culinary event for the foodie in you. This event, spread out over six days, with 20 different events offers something for everyone from casual dining events to the ultra-chic dining experiences.
The event is spread out over South and North Scottsdale, and ending on the last weekend with the Great Arizona Picnic. Sponsored by the Scottsdale League for the Arts, this signature event provides grant money to various non-profit groups that promote the arts in the valley.
Which event to attend can be perplexing problem with such a wide variety of times, venues, themes, guest stars and pricing? With 20 different events however there is something for the foodie in everyone. Are you a lover of fine dining? Try the Arizona Culinary Hall of Fame Event, the Friends of James Beard Benefit Dinner, or The Best of the Fest.
Are you more of a casual diner, enjoying music and company as much as the food, then there is something for you also? Try The Tequila Experience, Blues and Brews, the Southwest Festival, or Burger Battle.
The Great Arizona Picnic, is located in Old Town Scottsdale at the Civic Center Plaza, 3939 North Drinkwater Boulevard, Scottsdale, AZ 85251. The Great Arizona Picnic is being held on Saturday April 13th, and Sunday April 14th from noon to 6pm. The cost is $10 per person and it features over 50 vendors from around town all offering bite size samples (at an additional cost) so you can sample your way around Arizona.
