Scottsdale Festivals March 4th-6th

Springtime is here with delightful weather before the summertime heat comes blasting in…so enjoy the desert weather at one of the many festivals in Scottsdale this weekend!

car showGoodguys Rod & Custom Association 7th Spring Nationals
Over 2,500 American-made or American-powered vehicles from 1972 and earlier will be on display at the three-day hot-rod and vintage-car festival. There also will be more than 100 exhibits, a used auto-parts swap meet, sales area, demonstrations, an autocross competition, a model-car show and kids activities.
Details: March 4th-6th, 2016: 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday and Saturday; 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday. WestWorld of Scottsdale, 16601 N. Pima Road, Scottsdale. Tickets are $20 at the gate, $6 for ages 7-12, free for 7 and under.

Spring Training Festival
Scottsdale’s award-winning Spring Training Festival brings together the best of baseball to celebrate the start of the Cactus League and another season of “America’s Pastime!” Fans can enjoy hands-on activities focused around the science of baseball, meet and greets, storytelling, skill tests, memorabilia vendors, food and music. There will also be a Cactus League Hall of Fame induction ceremony at 5:30 p.m. and a free family movie starts under the stars at 7 p.m.
Details: Saturday, March 5, 2016: 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Scottsdale Civic Center Park, 3939 N. Drinkwater Blvd., Scottsdale. Free.

La Gran Fiesta
Celebrate Mexican and Chicano culture at this family-friendly festival with Latin music and dance, arts and crafts, fun activities for families, and delicious cuisine!
Details: Sunday, March 6, 2016: noon-4 p.m. Scottsdale Civic Center Park, 3808 N Drinkwater Blvd, Scottsdale. Free.
