DC Ranch is fortunate to have a network of path and trails that connects residents throughout the neighborhoods, parks, commercial and community centers, as well as the McDowell Sonoran Preserve. The over 35 miles of paths and trails is one of the best ways to connect with and explore the neighborhood.
Last year, as part of the DC Ranch 20th anniversary celebration, the Community Council partnered with Okanogan Trail Construction to begin a yearlong capital improvement. Okanogan Trail Construction was given the tasks to complete a survey of the existing path and trail system, create a list of recommendations for safety and connectivity, update the existing trail map and design and install wayfinding signs, kiosks, pedestals and emergency markers. Planners then divided the recommendations into three phases.
Okanogan Trail Construction has completed updating the existing trail map, DC Ranch residents may pick up the newly updated trail map at either the Desert Camp or The Homestead community centers or log on to DCRanch.com.
