Adopt-a-Road Clean up
Saturday, April 13th from 8am to 10am
Meet at the GCA Office
The Grayhawk Event Planning Committee has decided to give back to the community by signing up for the Adopt-a-Road program with the City of Scottsdale. The City of Scottsdale will provide all volunteers with gloves, trash bags, safety vests, and cold waters. We will not be in the road so all litter pick up will be on the property beyond the curb. We will meet in the GCA office at 8 am, go over some quick instruction, and then will start walking the trails along Hayden Road north of Thompson Peak Parkway. All volunteers 17 years of age and under must come with a
guardian. This is a great way to complete community service hours for school. We are only able to accommodate
the first 15 volunteers who register. All others will be encouraged to sign up for the next chosen date in the
fall. Please register online at www.grahawkcommunity.org.

Sunday, April 28th at 4pm
There is only one more Yoga in the Park event left this session! If you haven’t had the opportunity to try it out yet, come out on April 28th to enjoy the spring weather yoga. They offer a wide variety of classes to accommodate all ages and skill levels to help you become a better version of yourself and have proven to aid in a healthier, physically fit and less stressful lifestyle. Floo-id has offered to
do these classes at no cost just for Grayhawk residents! Just bring your mat, a can-do attitude, and your body will do the rest. Please register online prior to each class at www.grayhawkcommunity.org to help us coordinate with the instructors!
