Grayhawk is one of my favorite neighborhoods to show homes in. There are single family home, townhome and condo subdivisions. While touring Grayhawk with clients, I encourage them to take a look at the recent issue of the neighborhood publication, Grayhawk Flight. The Grayhawk Flight gives readers a peek into the many activties and amenities the community has to offer residents. A few upcoming events the Grayhawk community will be hosting are:
Modern Brush Calligraphy Class
Monday, September 17th from 5:30-7:30pm
Raptor Room
People often use modern calligraphy to make their own invitations, holiday cards, font design and typography, original hand-lettered logo designs, announcements and more! In this class, Maria Bernard, founder of Deco Ink Designs LLC, will teach participants how to create the lowercase alphabet and will be given several basic drills to continue practicing at home. The cost to participate in this class is $45 and will include wine, treats, two calligraphy pens and a take home workbook. Register and pay at www.grayhawkcomminty.org.
Grayhawk Hiking Club: 2018-2019 Season Kickoff Meeting
Thursday, September 20th at 6:30pm
Talon Room
The annual Season Kickoff Meeting for the Grayhawk Hiking Club will be September 20th. Since 2004, the hiking club has hosted several hikes per month from October through April. Hikes vary in difficulty to accommodate all hikers. All are encouraged to come to the meeting to learn more about the hiking club and gain insight into the hikes planned for this season.
