I just got an email titled “You are a Zillow Local Expert!” What does this mean, you ask?
I have an account with Zillow that I add listings, and also receive reviews just like this one from Brad, a recent client:

In case your wondering, a Zillow Local Expert is a realtor that has made valuable contributions in a specific city or neighborhood. I am an active Zillow user and make it a point to share my real estate knowledge in order to help others understand the market in the city they plan to buy or sell.
I am honored to have received the “Zillow local expert badge”, but let’s take Zillow out of the equation for a minute. My neighborhood area is, but not limited to, North Scottsdale. I also make it a point to know the lifestyle of the particular areas of North Scottsdale, and all over Phoenix including Paradise Valley, Cave Creek and Desert Ridge. After all, real estate is more than just property. When people want to know about a particular area, I can talk to them about lifestyle…the shops, restaurants, and activities of the local residents.
I’ve taken my job as a realtor above and beyond. My team, the Sibbach Team and I, case the neighborhoods and parks, write about the communities and restaurants and local happenings. I post listings, answer home Q and A, submit photos, and just be an all around helpful guy. This is my goal, to truly become a local expert.
