2016 Inman’s Innovator Award Finalist – Most Innovative Real Estate Sales Person


I have been named as one of the Top 20 Finalist in the Country for Inman’s Most Innovative Real Estate Sales Person Award for 2016.

Inman.com is a national real estate news portal that researched me, Jeff Sibbach, last month for an exclusive article. Understand that we don’t advertise with Inman… this is not a pay-to-play award. We were totally surprised to find out we were a finalist and incredibly flattered. They learned about our production from some of our peers which led to an interview and a featured article by this amazing author! (In case it helps!)

Of course I think we’re changing the world of real estate by providing exceptional support and marketing for our sellers, that has been unseen in the past by our industry. Of course I think our exclusive home finding process that identifies houses that are not on the market is game-changing. But when a national real estate news portal based out of New York recognizes it as well… we get excited!

Here’s the more formal announcement…

Inman, one of the leading sources of real estate news and trends, in their words, gives this award to “recognize and celebrate industry innovation and accomplishments.” Nominated individuals are recognized as the leaders in the real estate industry, for changing the way business is done and shaking up the status quo. This year, Jeff Sibbach, founder of the Sibbach Team, the number one team of agents at Realty One Group based on 2015 sales volume, has been nominated as one of the Most Innovative Real Estate Sales Agents of 2016. Jeff, along with 20 other top industry sales leaders across the country, will find out on August 4, 2016, if he wins this prestigious award. In 2015, Jeff and his team did almost $96 million in real estate transactions, and individually, Jeff was responsible for $58 million of that total.

The innovation for which Jeff Sibbach has been recognized can be distilled down into three distinct strategies:
First, the Sibbach Team excels at its direct to consumer advertising via its website, online presence, and open house marketing strategies. The Sibbach Team website was viewed by over 170,000 people in the last year and has 8,700 subscribers who have opted in to its email list looking to buy and sell homes. Their social internet presence and open house strategies consistently drive 3 times the amount of traffic through their listings compared to the average agent helping people get maximum dollar for their home.

Second, the Sibbach Team has nurtured the evolution of a new team strategy when it comes to listing homes for sales. Jeff offers the level of client service not offered by other REALTORS® including helping homeowners modernize their homes to take advantage of today’s trends. He does this through his use of his home stagers and interior stylists who are able to assist homeowners with updating their homes when they buy and preparing their homes for selling, all at a reasonable cost with a high return on investment.

Finally, the Sibbach Team has simply changed the service level that agents provide clients. With the assistance of a large team of specialists from REALTORS® to transaction coordinators to marketing assistants and web designers, Jeff Sibbach has created and maintained a standard of service to his clients that is unmatched in the industry.

The Sibbach Team has continually increased sales each year using these three strategies; sales from 2011 to 2012 increased by 50%, from 2012 to 2013 sales increased by 100%, and from 2013 onward sales have increased upwards of 20% each year.
