I wanted to send you an email letting you know how happy my husband and I are that we chose to work with the Sibbach Team, especially Matt McCormick, for the sale and purchase of our homes. We have moved across the country many times and have worked with a variety of realtors and relocation companies. This last home purchase was our 15th. In addition, I have worked in the mortgage industry since 2001 and have also worked with countless real estate agents. Without question, Matt is the best and most professional realtor we’ve employed.
I called Matt the beginning of 2018 as the result of a mailer he had sent. We were contemplating selling our home but weren’t in a rush and needed to finish another home project before venturing into a listing. I contacted Matt and set an appointment to meet. I was first impressed because he was prompt and well spoken. Any time during our transactions, if there were any changes in showing or meeting times, Matt always communicated this with us. Although it seems that it should be common courtesy to do this, it is not often the case. Matt met me at my home and we discussed meeting again in the summer to discuss listing. In July, Matt followed up with us and we met again to discuss listing and pricing. Matt spent quite a bit of time at our home taking notes and asking questions about our home. Never once did I feel rushed or pressured to get our home on the market. Once we decided to move forward with the listing, Matt discussed quite a bit of market data with us in helping us determine our listing price. The same was also true when as we looked to purchase a home. Matt was always quick to respond to our questions and to pull data to support the offers we made. We always felt informed with each transaction. Although our buyers were about as challenging as any we have encountered, Matt worked diligently with us and them to negotiate a price. If Matt hadn’t been our realtor, I’m not sure the sale would have come together. In all of our home sales, Matt was the first realtor to offer to reduce his commission to get the parties at an agreeable price. He worked tirelessly with our buyer to nudge him along all while helping us to find trades to fix needed repairs and assisting us in locating our next home. We appreciated that Matt was always straight forward with us and addressed all of our concerns.
We have since sold our home and are settling into our new home, closing a week earlier than scheduled. In the past, I never felt compelled to send an email to an owner expressing our complete satisfaction with our realtor. Matt is truly a professional, true to his word, and we can’t thank him enough for his help in selling and buying our homes.
