Before I met with Vicki, I had never known that a realtor can be so helpful and so professional. There are so many good things to talk about her and I am afraid my writing cannot fully express how great she is. I told all of my friends that even if my own mom is a realtor, all she would do for me would not exceed what Vicki did. She made a stressful housing searching process a breeze and wonderful experience.
The first time she showed me a house, I was immediately impressed. Although I arrived earlier than scheduled time, Vicki has already waited for me by the gate to open the gate for me. She paid close attention to EVERY word I said as she was eager to learn what I liked and disliked about a house. She pointed out all the details that could potentially affect re-sell that I may not be aware of. I never needed to worry about being pushed. She cared about finding me a home that I would enjoy more than getting the deal done. This has appeared in many showings later where she pointed out problems that I would never noticed myself. I know she wanted me to get a house that I would only enjoy more and more as time goes by.
As she learned about what I liked and didn’t like, she started to do extensive search for me. She not only researched houses went on the market, but also sent out letters to her connections in order to get information for houses that were not in the market yet. Whenever there was a new house in my interested area came out, Vicki immediately examining it and told me she would go take a look herself and then bring me to showing if it passed her initial examination. There were many times that I had to stop her as I didn’t want she worked too hard and got tired.
She not only discussed with me on pros and cons about each house we looked, she also gave me ideas of efficient ways to remodel the houses and fix issues.
When finally we found a house that I liked, she did extensive research on the market in order to come up with a price negotiation strategy. The market research she sent to me was so thorough. It even had interactive graphs where I could play and look at market from all possible angles. I was impressive by the knowledge and skills she had and the enormous time she spent on it.
When it came to negotiation, she truly represented my interest and tried to get me a price as low as possible. I was very concerned about my budget while still wanted to find a great house. She showed great understanding and was so patient in getting back and forth between me and the seller. During the entire process, she was so quick in responding to my text or phone call. I felt that she was always there whenever I would like to talk.
Finding a house and negotiating a good price was just a start of what she did for me. During the inspection, she cares about finding all potential problems of the house as much as I do. I feel that I don’t even need to be there myself, she would take care of everything for me.
For the house that I finally bought, the owner refused to do any fixes due to the low price we negotiated. However, the owner allowed us to use her home warranty to do the fixes but we have to do all the work on our own and pay the home warranty service fees. In order to get the house fixed before I moved in, Vicki worked with home warranty company and contractors on my behalf. She went to the house for AT LEAST a dozen of times for the repair appointments. ALL I did was to simply provide my credit card number for the service fees. Vicki took care of EVERYTHING for me. I never asked her to do that for me. She volunteered to do it as she wanted the house to be prepared as much as possible before I move in.
In all, after working with Vicki, I knew I would never need to be stressful whenever I am looking to move in the future. She impressed me so much. Therefore, when anyone I met talked about houses, I immediately jumped in to tell them how great my realtor Vicki was. And since I had so many great things to talk about Vicki’s work, my talk went on and on with great excitement. My friends who listened to me often wonder if Vicki and I were close friends before so that she would want to do so much for me. I told them I never knew Vicki before. It was just how she did her realtor work! Furthermore, I now know Vicki is a dear friend to trust. I wish my experience could help all people I care to have an easy and enjoyable house buying experience while getting a good price.
