The Scottsdale Unified School District will be hosting the second annual SUSD Showcase Saturday, October 22nd from 10am to 1pm at Cocopah Middle School. All 31 SUSD schools will be present while student performances entertain throughout the event.

Some of the Valley’s most famous celebrities attended Arcadia: Film director Steven Spielberg, actress Lynda Carter and singer Stevie Nicks. Spielberg made his first film when he was a student at Arcadia- “Firelight”.

This K-5 school has approximately 480 students. Principal Amy Moore says the mission of Navajo is to “Build character, competence, and community”.

Pima Elementary School is located at 8330 E. Osborn Road in the Scottsdale Unified School District. This K-5 school has approximately 700 students and is an “A” rated school.

Chaparral High School is located at 6935 Gold Dust Avenue and is located in the Scottsdale Unified School District.

Pueblo Elementary School is located at 6320 N. 82nd street in the Scottsdale Unified School District. This K-5 school has an “A” rating and scores and 8 out of 10 on greatschools.org

Windgate Ranch is located in the prestigious, nationally recognized Scottsdale Unified School District.

Cheyenne Traditional School is located in the Scottsdale Unified School District at 13636 N. 100th street. This K-8 school was established in response to the community desire to have a “back to basics” school.

This year the Parent Univeristy Project will focus more on college and career readiness for all age groups. Free childcare will be offered throughout the event by SUSD’s Kids Club program.
