My real estate team started in North Scottsdale, Arizona, but has expanded to cover the entire Valley. North Scottsdale is considered a different area than South Scottsdale or Old-Town Scottsdale. We consider it the northeast quadrant of the Valley: north of Shea and east of Tatum. The North Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce included Desert Ridge (which is technically in North Phoenix) in its territory, so we do too.
