The “Park at Grayhawk”, aka the Park side, is the section between Scottsdale Rd and Hayden Rd. It’s about 500 acres catering to family-oriented buyers. Grayhawk was designed with lots of large grassy area and playground equipment spread out through the Park. The residents on the park side are within walking distance to Grayhawk Schools. Prices for these single-family homes range from $400,000 to approximately $800,000.

The Retreat is the section between Hayden Rd and Pima. It’s split in half north/south by Thomspons Peak Pkwy. These man-gated communities offer more activities expected at gated communities; community pools, two world-class golf courses called Talon and Retreat, and tennis courts. There’s also the Grayhawk community wide walking path, which is almost 20 miles and winds through all the communities. You will commonly see walkers, joggers and bikers enjoying these paths.

The Retreat at Grayhawk contains 15 subdivisions and a variety of housing styles. These two guard-gated home communities are called Talon Retreat and Raptor Retreat. Each community has a blend of upscale Grayhawk homes and townhomes and is named after each of the Grayhawk golf courses that run through the community. The homes at The Retreat tend to be far more expensive starting at $600,000 and exceeding over $1 million. Grayhawk’s golf courses are considered to be some of Arizona’s most famous daily-fee courses. The community even has two onsite restaurants Isabella’s and Phil’s Grill.
