Hi, my name is Jeff Sibbach, and I'm here to discuss the Grayhawk Homes for Sale Report for January 2012. So, we're gonna start with a year ago numbers for comparison.

January 2011 we sold 23 homes in the Grayhawk area, for an average of $160.06 per square foot. We sold 3 Grayhawk bank owned homes averaging $151.03 (per square foot). There were 12 Grayhawk single family homes for $181.00 a square foot. And for Grayhawk townhomes and condos; there were 11 sales for $137.05 a square foot. Then, December of last year we also sold 23 Grayhawk homes in the month, and the average was $151.00 (per square foot). So, from January to December the prices were a slight bit less.

Parents of preschool children bound for Kindergarten in the fall may be weighing options for the best fit for elementary school. It’s time to sign up for preschool!

This time of year brings stress to all families of a preschool aged child. Some of the popular North Scottsdale homes preschools have/will begin registration for the 2012-2013 school year. To those parents who are determined to get a spot at one of this highly sought after Scottsdale homes preschools, one may arrive at 2a.m. to get in line for doors opening to enroll at 9:00. I am one who can understand this mindset as I have done this more than a couple times myself.

DC Ranch homes for Sale - January 2012

There is encouraging news to share when looking at the recent DC Ranch Homes for sale numbers for December 2011.  DC Ranch had 18 homes sell with the majority being single family or patio homes and only one DC Ranch Townhomes and Condos sold during this month.  DC Ranch holds tight to its reputation to lead the pricing uptrend with prices up month after month and year after year.  This trend is expected to continue.
