Throughout the year, the Grayhawk Homes for Sale Community Association holds community events and activities especially for it’s residents.
Grayhawk Snow Ball: The forecast is calling for snow in the Grayhawk community! Each January, truck loads of snow are delivered to the greenbelts for children of all ages for icy fun, hot chocolate and cookies.
Daddy-Daughter Dance: February Valentines fun is created with the Daddy-Daughter dance. Dads, brothers, friends and uncles may escort their best little lady to the ball which includes; dinner, dancing, prizes and activities especially for the little girls.
Hawk Trot 5K/10K Walk and Run: The Hawk Trot is a 5K/10K run that takes participants through Grayhawk’s beautiful neighborhood streets. This valley-wide favorite ends with a festival with food, music, children’s activities and entertainment!
BowWow PowWow: The BowWow PowWow is an event open to the general public, that highlights retail, educational and pet rescue vendor booths. Also an opportunity to enjoy doggy demos, dirty doggie wash contests, and pet fashions. Many activities for the whole family at this event…RUFF!
Hawaiian Luau: Kids play and mom and dad relax at this fun family event. Families are greeted with a lei, and great food and a variety of fruity drinks are served. Then, sit back for an authentic Hawaiian show filled with singing, hula dancers, and fire dancers!
Babysitters Expo: Need a babysitter for the summer? Come to this event for babysitter interviewing the newest Grayhawk Homes for Sale babysitters! This event is for families looking for babysitters, and babysitters ready to market their skills for the summer.
Resident Golf Outings: Residents enjoy monthly golf specials throughout the year at Grayhawk Golf Club. Grayhawk Golf Club is a public course, but residents do receive specials such as 18 holes, prizes and often, complimentary food.
Easter Egg Hunt: Residents and their children look forward to putting on their Easter best and joining in an Easter egg hunt, cake walk and pictures with the Easter Bunny! Face painting, arts, crafts and cookie decorating are also featured.
Spring Garage and Book Sale: The entire community goes on sale every spring for the Spring Garage and Book Sale! The Grayhawk Elementary School PTO is the recipient of the proceeds. Also, to raise money for future Grayhawk Neighborhood Programs, an annual used book sale is also held.
Family BBQ and Movie Night: A a resident favorite, Grayhawk families experience an evening of fun with a movie on a gigantic screen in the ballpark, BBQ, and a variety of games!
“Soda Shop” Ice Cream Social: An old fashioned ice cream social with family and friends in the community. Music, ice cream, children’s activities and more!
Pumpkin Patch: Dressed up for Halloween, the kids pick a favorite pumpkin from the patch. They can then decorate them to their hearts content. Pizza, games, and activities make for a perfect fall day!
Splish Splash Bash: This back to school celebration for residents is a Splish Splash party complete with water games, a slip and slide, a dunk tank, and blow up slides!
Happy Hour, Ladies Night out and Singles Happy Hour: A social event is always planned on the calandar for adults wanting to meet their neighbors, or just to spend time with friends!
Santa Party: This event is especially popular with kids and adults alike! The kids dress in their special holiday outfit and sit on Santa’s lap to get their special gift! Mom and dad get to mingle with neighbors and friends, with plenty of food and drinks!
Hanukkah Party: Dreidels, latkes-it’s all at the annual Grayhawk Community Hanukkah Party. Kids are welcomed with a variety of craft tables, games and cookie decorating while parents sit back, relax and enjoy the holidays.
Grayhawk community hosts such a wide variety of ongoing events including lunch bunch, bridge, book clubs, wine tastings, golf outings, hiking club and more. It’s no wonder Grayhawk is one of the most sought-after for home buying.
