Halloween pumpkinSearching for fun-filled festivities to celebrate Halloween? Then check out one of Arizona’s pumpkin patches. Several farms, orchards and ranches in the Valley hold annual family-friendly festivals to entertain guests with hayrides, corn mazes and more!

Mother Nature’s Farm
The Pumpkin Patch at Mother Nature’s Farm is rated “Arizona’s Best” in the New Times. They will be open from October 1st through October 31st. The family-owned farm in Gilbert is re-stocked daily with fresh pumpkins, ranging from one ounce up to 500 pounds! The farm entrance is $10 per child, includes an OZ pumpkin, an individual bag of stickers for decorating your pumpkin, an air bounce, a hayride, a straw bounce, the opportunity to feed animals and an adventure maze. Adult tickets are $5 to tag along and ride the hayride.

Apple Annie’s Orchard
Apple Annie’s Orchard in Wilcox allows you to pick your own pumpkin in their pumpkin patch. Open from October 1st through October 31st. Families will be able to find their own perfect pumpkin, take a wagon ride and enjoy a stroll around the orchard’s patch. Pumpkins range in price from $3-$25, depending on the size.

Tolmachoff Farms
Families can walk through a six-acre corn maze, a mini corn maze, and a haunted maze at Tolmachoff Farms in Glendale. Open from October 1st to November 5th, Tuesdays through Sundays. Farm admission is $12 and includes a family mini maze, a petting zoo, play areas, a jumping pillow, and a bounce house.

MacDonald’s Ranch
The annual North Scottsdale pumpkin patch will be open from October 1st through October 31st. Families and kids will be able to visit the petting zoo, learn to pan for gold, explore the hay maze, enjoy Western games and more at MacDonald’s Ranch. Tickets are $10 adults and children, Monday through Friday, and $12 each Saturdays and Sundays.

Schnepf Farms
Take your family out this October to Schnepf Farms, voted by Phoenix Magazine, New Times, Sunset Magazine and others as ‘The Best Fall Family event in the Valley.” Schnepf’s Farms in Queen Creek hosts its annual Chili Party every Thursday through Sunday, beginning October 5th. Admission tickets are $20 at the gate or $15 at any Fry’s Food Stores.
