Ryan Sims was born and raised in Westfield, Indiana until the age of 16 when he moved to Cave Creek and attended Cactus Shadows High School. Ryan has always had a passion for music and performing, his talents developed quickly as he became a skilled, self-taught guitarist, singer and songwriter. After high school Ryan’s life-long passion for playing music inspired him to found the Phoenix-based band EastonAshe (EA). Almost immediately the band received nationwide recognition for their unique blend of trademark originals and revamped cover music. In 2006, EA released their debut album Can I Drive It which sold 10,000 copies in the first year. In 2007 the band won the Independent Rock Album of The Year award. In back to back years, EA was also awarded with the Performer of the Year award at the LA Music/ Hollywood Fame Awards in 2007 and 2008. In 2009 Ryan snatched up Singer/Songwriter of the Year at the Phoenix Music Awards. Ryan’s first solo album was formally released on January 11th, 2014 at an exclusive event hosted by Harold’s Corral in Cave Creek. The album is an unique blend of rock-infused-country sound. Ryan wrote the lyrics and music for nine out of ten songs featured on his self-titled album, Ryan Sims. Currently Ryan is touring with his own band of local talents – including several former EA members. Ryan Sims, Jeff Ocheltree, Ethan Newman, Jay Poole and Perry J. Senn make up the Ryan Sims Band.

Vinyl Station’s Matthew and Brendon met after getting accidentally booked for the same gig and ended up playing on each others sets because they liked most of the same music. Shortly after they began working together and the Vinyl Station was formed. Alex Kyhn joined next and added great bass tone and expert timing to the rhythm section. Roy Cameron is the most recent member and he fit in right away with dynamic energy and precise yet organic timing.
