It’s not too late to sign up for a Turkey Trot! The following races are still accepting walk-in registrations tomorrow morning!
Fountain Hills Turkey Trot
More than 1,500 people participate in this holiday tradition every year! Participants can choose from a 5K run or 1-mile walk. Awards will be given to the top three finishers in various age divisions. Stay after the race to watch the Chamber of Commerce’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Mesa Turkey Trot
Timed 5K and 10K runs along with a 1-mile run/walk are part of the Mesa Turkey Trot on a flat course at Red Mountain Park in Mesa. The Mesa trot is one of the area’s oldest running events and a Thanksgiving tradition, is sponsored by the Sertoma Club of Mesa. Proceeds are contributed to non-profit organizations in the East Valley and across Arizona, primarily benefiting the disabled and underprivileged citizens of our community.

Phoenix Turkey Trot
Phoenix’s annual 5K and 10K Thanksgiving Day runs go through downtown Phoenix at Wesley Bolin Plaza. There is also a 1-mile dash for those who aren’t up for a longer run. There will be pumpkin pie and cranberry aid stations along the course, and more food and hot drinks after the race. And there’s more…dress up in costume and you might win an award! Prizes will be given for best turkey, most creative costume, best-dressed family, best-dressed couple, and best-dressed team.
