UPDATE: This year’s information can be found here.
It’s that time of year again…the Waste Management Phoenix Open 2013 gets underway Thursday and runs through Sunday. As always, the event promises to be one of the best attended PGA Tour tournaments, and one of Scottsdales greatest attractions. For this year’s event golf fans will be entertained by the likes of Rickie Fowler, last year’s winner Keegan Bradley, and local hero Phil Mickelson. But half the attendees won’t even see a golf shot! The amphitheater surrounding the 16th hole is like nothing else in golf- no golf clap’s here, it’s more like a wild college party. Speaking of party, each night Wednesday through Saturday the Bird’s Nest features live entertainment, this year we’ll have Arizona’s own Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers, Dierks Bentley, and Saturday’s headliner is O.A.R., one of the country’s best live bands. So whether you’re a golf fanatic, party animal, or both, this week the TPC of Scottsdale has what you’re after. Come see what makes this event one of Scottsdales most famous events!
