Attractions of note in Cave Creek include the Cave Creek Museum. This institution is dedicated to the history and culture of the Cave Creek and Carefree area. There is also the Spur Cross Ranch Conservation. All residents of Cave Creek can get an annual pass to visit this conservation, which has over 2000 acres of land including archaeological sites and lush vegetation. Many visitors come in Spring particularly to see the wildflowers. Nearby are various recreational activities including golf, hiking, biking or horse back riding for owners of Cave Creek homes to enjoy. The nearest golf course is the Rancho Manana Golf. Festivals include the Thunderbird Arts and Wine Festivals and Fiesta Days Rodeo. A seasonal farmer’s market operates from October to May. There is a clear appreciation for the arts in this area. For example, Desert Foothills Theater has been presenting theater for over 34 years, There is also Arizona Musicfest and the Cave Creek Film and Arts Festival.
