My wife and I were relocating to the Phoenix area in connection with my upcoming retirement. Although we had been to Phoenix and Scottsdale for 10-12 years for spring training, we really didn’t know all the communities in the Greater Phoenix area–we wanted to find a realtor who knew the Greater Phoenix area and who was associated with a broker that could provide deep resources if needed.
After a lot of online research, we found a hidden jewel–Mark Vander Ark. Mark has a great sense of humor and a lot of patience–we wanted to see homes in several sections of the valley–we may have set a one day record for miles traveled and Mark never complained. As we visited each house on the tour, Mark’s keen perception allowed him to understand our likes and dislikes and to narrow the home search to areas and homes that were very much in line with the type of home and community we were seeking. Mark gave us great advice as we worked through an offer on one home—the seller clearly wasn’t motivated and Mark helped us see that and we walked away to avoid buying an over-priced home. We made an offer on our other “first choice” and the process went smoothly with Mark’s excellent guidance. We recently closed on the home and will be moving in this month.
While there are a lot of real estate agents in the Greater Phoenix area, many with more reviews, experience, fancier ads and web pages than Mark, you would be remiss if you didn’t give Mark an opportunity to help you find your next home. Mark will work extremely hard to represent you and he is very engaging, friendly and customer-focused. We had the good fortune to find Mark and work with him–if you give Mark the opportunity to serve you, we are confident you will have the same positive experience and successful outcome that we experienced.
