Just to the southeast of Queen Creek lies a small community known as the San Tan Valley. Not quite within the boundaries of the ‘official’ Valley, this location offers a hometown feel without the struggles of an overwhelming city feel. The town takes its name from the nearby San Tan mountains, a beautiful and must-see hike for anyone exploring the area. The community is not without its spoils, however, for the Encanterra Country Club and Alvea spa are known for their plush commodities and set a relaxing tone. Though it may be small, the San Tan Valley is certainly not without its offerings and a great retreat in the mountains of the south.
