Desert Ridge real estate is conveniently located north of where the 51 intercepts the Loop 101 freeway in North Phoenix. Desert Ridge is a mixed-use development made up single-family homes, condos/townhomes, commercial development, and a hotel/golf club. Homes for sale in Desert Ridge were built from 1996 to present. During this time homes have sold between $100,000 and $1,600,000. There are still some new homes in Desert Ridge available for sale and with undeveloped land around this North Phoenix community we’ll continue to see home builders adding new neighborhoods.

For the local residence there is walking-distance entertainment at the Desert Ridge Marketplace. This 1.2 million sqft commercial development offers shopping, dining, movies, outdoor fireplaces, and live music. Even though it is a hectic parking lot on the weekends, the convenience for it’s residents is wonderful.
Desert Ridge is such a family friendly neighborhood it seems there is a school on every corner. There are elementary schools, middle schools, and high schools all within walking or bike-riding distance. Desert Ridge schools are where the teachers in the Paradise Valley School District want to work. They have excellent academics and strong community support. One example, Pinnacle High School, has been ranked in the top 500 nationally.
Just when you thought our list of what Desert Ridge real estate has to offer was finished, we add the luxurious JW Marriot Desert Ridge Resort & Spa along with it’s neighboring golf course the Wildfire Golf Club. This resort is used by both out-of-towners and local residents. Roy’s (one of six restaurants at the resort) has an “Aloha Hour” that features a kid-friendly patio and food and drink specials that residents enjoy more than hotel guests.
