If you happen to find yourself enjoying the beautiful town of Carefree in the North Scottsdale Real Estate area, you must stop in to the English Rose Tea Room. Located in the Sun Dial Shopping area, this quaint little find is a great spot to meet up with some girlfriends or take Mom out for an afternoon. Serving up a traditional English Afternoon Tea along with light fare from salads and quiche to scrumptious scones and pastries, this authentic English Tea Room will make you feel like you are in the heart of the English countryside. The selection of loose leaf teas is extensive and the scones served along with devonshire cream and jam is fantastic. I would recommend the Duchess of Bedford’s Formal Afternoon Tea, definitely enough to share with a friend. It comes with 3 tiers of tea sandwiches, scones and petit fours and a pot of tea. After relaxing leisurely over your tea venture next door to the gift shop, packed with unique finds from jewelry and antiques to decor for your home in North Scottsdale Real Estate.
Another must when you are looking for that perfect breakfast or Sunday brunch meal is Over Easy. Located near the McDowell Mountain Ranch community in the North Scottsdale Real Estate area, right next to the Ice Den. This breakfast hot spot has your breakfast favorites. Omelets, pancakes, waffles and their claim to fame Caramelized Banana & Pecan Brioche French Toast….yep you heard me right! Featured on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives on the Food Network, this local eatery is packed with diners eager to get their fill of breakfast food. The restaurant has a nice outdoor patio area and a smaller inside space too. It is the perfect spot to sip coffee, read your Sunday paper and indulge a little bit while taking in the view of the McDowell Mountains.
Another find that you may not realize is right in your backyard. It’s Roy’s at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort. You probably have passed by this gorgeous resort and never thought about venturing inside to eat. Located in the North Scottsdale Real Estate area of Desert Ridge. Start off your evening with Roy’s famous Hawaiian Pineapple Martini, so refreshing and delicious made with vodka and rum infused pineapples. They have a fabulous appetizer meant to be shared with a variety of their more popular appetizers, it’s called the Canoe Appetizer for Two. The Hawaiian fusion fare has a lot of seafood options, their signature dish is the Macadamia Nut Crusted Mahi Mahi, but other options are on the menu for those not into seafood. Roy’s does offer an Aloha Hour where they offer specials on drinks and appetizers. Whatever you do, you must indulge in their desserts, some needing about a 1/2 hour to be made to order. The Molten Chocolate Lava Cake is amazing and if they are offering it, the Pineapple Upside Down Cake is an excellent choice too! They have outdoor patio seating complete with torches, if you sit inside try to get a booth, it can be a bit noisy inside. Walk around the grounds of this beautiful resort afterwards and enjoy the ambiance, it is a lovely way to spend a nice evening out in North Scottsdale Real Estate.
